Welcome to Wheatland Union High School District

Our goal is to provide a meaningful and valuable educational experience for all students. To provide the best educational experience possible, our curriculum is challenging and rigorous and we hold high expectations for our students.

The administration and staff at Wheatland Union High School District welcome the support of parents and community members to contribute to the greatest gifts we are able to give our students: a solid academic foundation, life skills for productive citizenship, and an appreciation for lifelong learning. Our District's tradition of excellence depends upon parents, students, and staff working together in a unified, focused effort

Have Questions?

For Parents

How do I register my child for school?
You may register your child for the current school year at any time. Register at the school's Main Office as soon as residence within the district can be proved. Please visit our Registration page for forms and registration requirements.
When should I keep my sick student home from school?
Do not send children to school if they are sick. Any children who are determined to be sick while at school will be sent home. Keep sick children at home for at least 24 hours after they no longer have fever or have stopped taking medication for fever or flu symptoms.
What are the Common Core State Standards?
Since 2010, a number of states have adopted the same standards for English and math, called the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). Having the same standards helps all students get a good education, even if they change schools or move to a different state. Read more at the California Department of Education website.

For Students

What is on the lunch menu?
The District Food Services department provides complete, nutritious and pleasing breakfast and lunch meals to all students who want to participate. Every meal will meet the USDA requirements for nutrition. Click here for menus.
When do I get a report card?
WUHS operates on a two-semester system. Each student receives four report cards per semester. All mid-semester report cards are mailed the week following the end of a nine-week period.
